Sanctuary Spa Therapist's Secret Facial Oil

Just lately I've become aware that my skin isn't exactly what it used to be. Initially I figured that it was probably just the prolonged effects of a hangover, but now I'm coming to terms with the fact that age is creeping up on me. With that in mind, I figured it's nigh time that I started using an anti-ageing product as part of my beauty regime, and after a bit of consideration, I decided on Sanctuary Spa Therapist's Secret Facial Oil. Buying direct from their website, it costs £17.35 for 30ml, but there are significantly cheaper options elsewhere on the net.

The Claims- Super-charged plumping treatment for younger looking skin. 99% Organic.

The Reality- At 26 years of age, I'd imagine that I'm the kind of girl that Sanctuary are targeting when they say that this product is 'for people seeking younger, firmer and smoother skin that is better protected against early signs of ageing.' With that in mind, I would have preferred something that smelled less like my gran, and more like a summer breeze. The 99% organic ingredients include Rose and Frankincense, and with the addition of Citronellol there definitely won't be any flies on you!

When it comes to applying Therapist's Secret Facial Oil, it really is quite easy. Just a couple of drops is more than enough, so you can be sure that the 30ml bottle will last a few months. Personally I've never been fond of oil based products, but this is definitely one of the better ones out there. Just like other facial oils, it takes a good 5 minutes to soak in, but the effects are immediate.

Instantly my skin felt firmer, and it made a great base for applying light make-up. I wouldn't recommend it as a base for anything heavier though, as it caused my make-up to crease a little more than usual around my laughter lines.

On a long-term scale, I'm unable to say whether or not the anti-ageing effects are as good as suggested, or whether or not the Facial Oil is suitable for sensitive skin. On that basis, I'll give you a few more details after a bit more usage.

Keep your eyes peeled for the update!
